We value the youth in our community. We recognize and affirm that they will be the leaders of our faith communities in the future, and we strive to make great investments in them. We have a variety of student ministries at Christ UMC, and we work to give the students ownership in those ministries. Our main student ministry, Meta, is a student-led, community youth effort that reaches the students grades 6-12. The students plan and lead a Sunday evening worship gathering, followed by a time of fun and games. Meta takes place on Sunday evenings at 7pm in the Upper Room of the River of Life. Meta is led by Chasity Opphile and the Meta Leadership Team.
