Music Ministry

Music is a global way to praise God and witness to our faith. All people groups since creation has implemented music as a unique expression of their culture. At Christ United Methodist Church, we offer a couple ways to be involved in music ministry. The handbell choir is one unique ministry that we offer. The River Ringers are a fun group to be a part of. They play during our first service for nine months of the year. They also play at special events in surrounding communities. The River Ringers also have several beneficial fundraisers, including selling sticky buns and our annual Easter candy sale! They practice on Thursday evenings at 6, and they are led by Kathy Ellis.

The other opportunity for music ministry is with the church choir. The choir is also a season music ministry. They sing during the traditional worship service for nine months of the year. They also have participated in the Christmas and Easter dramas. The choir meets on Thursday evenings at 7 in the Wesley Room, and they are led by Lori Stevens.
